![]() You are invited to one of the most enjoyable afternoons and evenings of fun and fellowship that you could ever experience. Mt. Al’s Roundup is a private event held each year the weekend after Father's Day. This year the event is being held on June 21st, 2008 to raise funds for Mount Aloysius, a mental retardation facility.
The day begins at 12:00 in Sugar Grove south of Lancaster with a buffet lunch at Hidden Haven (HH) followed by a 50 bird round of team sporting clays ($10 buy in). We call it golf with a shot gun. This event has become extremely popular each year.
You should bring your own gun, borrow one or you can rent one at HH.
We are camping at HH again this year. You should bring a tent, any personal fire arm(s) you want to shoot at the Open Shoot, your poker face and an appetite. Beginning at 3:00 we will have an Open Shoot offering a variety of shooting options. You will have the chance to shoot at least 3 guns.
During this same time you can throw horse shoes, play corn hole and enjoy happy hour.
At 6:30 we will have the flag lowering ceremony followed by a western style pig-out prepared by the Camp Boss, Larry Clark and his skilled staff.
The evening features great live southern rock musical entertainment that gives many guys the itch to play Texas Hold’em and poker. The evening and dollars pass quickly. The self serve bar ends up over serving many of the attendees and they then quietly sneak to their
tents frequently tripping over several others on their way. After a great cup of java and pastry on Sunday morning you are on your way home to your family. You just had one of the most enjoyable times in along time.
Your attendance and financial support are critical to making this event a success once again. Please complete the online.
All checks should be made payable to Mt. Al's Roundup. $125 Roundup only. $165 Roundup and Sporting Clays. Additional donations are encouraged and appreciated.
